If Snow White is a vampire then the evil queen is literally the only person in the kingdom who recognises this, even the huntsman sent to stake her in the woods falls for her charm.

One of Neil Gaiman short story (Snow,Glass, Apples) literally do this. The Queen also the heroine of the story. The ending still the same

In the Grim fairy tail she was 7 in the Disney version she was 14. She is "pale as snow" because she had the purity of a child. There are so many parallels that are lost in the Disney version, for example the queen as her biological mother in the Grimm tales, the mothers jealousy is based on youth and the inevitable replacement by the heir apparent. This is why the queen wanted to eat her organs. By ageing up snow white and making her unrelated to the mother, they change the dynamic of a mother consuming her child to extend her own life to a sexual rivalry.
