you’re very resilient. taking the time to brown the butter and immediately after needing to clean up all the grease from my countertop… that would have been frustrating, but survivable. but i would have called it quits after the glass kitchen aid bowl breaking. baking just isn’t in the cards for me today, i’ll try again next time lol

Don't pour burning hot stuff right on thin plastic containers, girrrrl! Not even on "safe and BPA free" tupperware of any plastic description. Whatever non-BPA plastic stabiliser these contain, it's just not been banned yet, and it has similar structure and properties (and hormone disruption effects etc) as the BPA stuff. That's what we were taught at the chemistry school (industrial and polymers chemistry lectures).

Oh no! Please don't mix hot food and plastics, also wouldn't recommend microwaving any plastic either. Micro-wave safe only means that the container won't warp, it doesn't state anything about food-safe. You wouldn't drink from a plastic water bottle that has veen hanging out in the car, why would you put steaming hot food into a plastic container. But I feel you, sometimes everything goes wrong and you might feel like throwing a pan out the window. 😂
