At first, he thought he was seeing things—so he slapped himself hard, and only then did he believe it was real. What confused him even more was that SpongeBob looked completely different at work too. His body, which used to be full of holes, was now smooth and flat. It all started with one of Squidward's complaints. SpongeBob kept yelling, which finally pushed Squidward over the edge. Squidward was furious and told SpongeBob that there were two kinds of people in the world: one kind was normal people, and the other was freaks like him. Hearing that really hurt SpongeBob, so he made up his mind to change himself.
