Fold 5, 6, and 7 owner here. What no reviewers will tell you about the crease: - Keeping it folded = deeper crease over time; this is normal and expected. - Heat from gaming or really heavy workloads frequently = can make crease deeper due to material deformation or worse, peel the protector. Even if phone is folded. I'm fine with the first point. I wish more people hinted at the 2nd. Props to Elijah for even pointing out the 0-fold state and 1-fold state of the crease. While crease tech has improved significantly, it's still a marketable factor and its day to day stress limits need to be shown.

It's 0.1mm thinner (than the Fold 7) not 1mm. The 8 Ultra is 4.1mm when unfolded. The Fold 7 is 4.2mm.

everyone complains about the black bars but if you put the fold 8 and fold 8 ultra next to each other in landscape the video is the same size and when viewing other content like webpages you get that whole screen and at any time if you want a specific aspect ratio you can click the recents button and change the apps ratio
