I’m a high school teacher and I’ve sat through many graduations. I always tell my students if you’re planning to do something silly, funny or cool when you walk on the stage for your diploma, as long as you’re not going to hurt anyone or waste too much time (because we do have to keep things moving when we’ve got 300 names to call), GO FOR IT. It’s such a special day and you’ve worked hard to get here. Show off. Do a little dance. Throw some dollar bills. Do a flip. The principal tells us to discourage the kids from doing so, and I understand why, but at the same time there’s no way I’m gonna put a stopper on a young person’s joy and exuberance when they deserve to feel it and to share it.

Too bad MJ couldn't be here to see the love the world still has for him.. 💞

Teacher saying don’t do it, what chu gonna do? Suspend me? HA! Nah I’m doing it! Same energy as during my graduation ‘cept it was our principal. This woman had the gall to tell everyone in that gymnasium to hold their applause and cheers till the end of the ceremony. Woman, why? No body cares. And my family proved that. I was one of the last to go up to get my diploma folder (they didn’t give you the actual diploma till like a week later), alphabetically my last name was near the end, and my aunt had to lean down to apologize to the people in front of her, my dad, and her son for what was about to happen. And when I got up there my dad and cousin SCREAMED soooo loud… louder than anyone else who still cheered and clapped for their kids. In fact I didn’t know it was them at first, I thought it was a group of guys who used to cat call me in the halls during school until afterwards when they admitted it was them 😂

RESPECT THE YOUNG MAN HE WORKED HARD, HE EARNED HIS MOMENT GIVE HIM THE STAGE OPPORTUNITIES ONLY COME ONCE IN A LIFETIME WELL DONE 👍 CONGRATULATIONS KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK
