We sent our engine to South Side British in Danville Virginia. Mike there is amazing and super supportive during the whole process. An absolute gem of a shop. His dad is in his 80s and Mike is going to be taking over. Shoot them a call. An absolute amazing family owned shop.

Hay Tyler, I actually work at a machine shop. We just rebuild and fixed a 300sl head. You should call Tom Leuer at Leuer Engine and Machine. We are only 6-7 (haha) hours from you in Roanoke Texas. We don't pull motors or put them back in, but we can do all of the bottom end work and top end work. I also happen to make regular trips to McPherson to the collage, I'd even be happy enough to drive the back and forth so you don't have to worry about the shipping. Just emailed you as well, best of luck with the Gulwing
