Sad about the Gullwing. Glad you kept your son safe and you are lucky to have the Car Wizard and Daniel-Son at the ready. I get it about your 560. I bought my dad's Escalade from my step mom after his passing. Within a year I traded it on a pickup. Every time I drove it I remembered the last time he drove it after I walked my dad and step mom to the car after my son's wedding. This was not a happy memory. You have happy memories with your Grandmother, so glad those can live on for you.

The part that sticks out to me the most is that he continued to idle it to an exit so his son could be safe and not on the side of the highway. That shows his real character prioritizing family over his most expensive asset. Plenty of rich snobs that wouldn't have done that, Hoovie is still that same hardworking guy he has always been.
