Rebar is either a miracle or a ruiner of worlds. Depends on the game, it can be up to 5-8% gain, or a 2-5% loss, or do nothing at all. I keep it off for compatibility Edit: for the people who can't take a joke, 5-8% loss/gain isn't a miracle or a ruiner of worlds, it's a damn joke, and it's not called optimizing having it on if it ruins compatibility with the titles that you play.

For you who don't know what a BAR is, it stands for Base Address Register, it wither tells the OS whether it is a port (Port IO using inb/outb and its variants for other bitness) or an address to MMIO (Memor y Mapped IO), this register tells the OS how to actually use that PCI device, resizeable BAR (or reBAR) essentially just tells the OS to map the entire memory of the BAR, btw, not all memory is real, most of it is virtual, that means that some addresses are not actual RAM, they are device MMIO or other stuff such as ACPI memory
