imagine if the reveal was not that is was jackie’s evil boyfriend, but rather that it just wasn’t her and that the “false accusation” was real all along…. that would make this book Much better imo
I feel like adding one piece of cultural context to The List: there was an entire spate of acid attacks happening in the UK at one point. Obviously doesn't save the book, but seems worth noting because it's something that probably seems wayyyyy more out there as a threat if you don't live there.
