All of these AI/smart features should be OFF on default and OPTIONAL to be turned on. That will eliminate all of these privacy issues for users. We're the ones who should matter. Thanks, Trevor

Thanks for the tip! A note for those using Window PC and accessing gmail from a browser. Setting is on upper right hand corner, and when you first click it, it only shows basic settings. You need to click another button that says " see All settings". Once you have on the "All settings" page, you can find the Google work place smart feature button on the General settings section.

Google has consumed so much of our data already. It’s something we almost can’t control at this point. Gemini is taking over much of Google and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. There has been cases where even with those toggles turnt off, AI still has access to your data. The only exit to AI is to not buy a Smart Device. Use a Dummy Phone if you’re that worried about your data.

Switched off on iPhone thankyou. Is there a place to turn this off / check the settings in my web browser. I have a block at the top of my inbox which says the blurb about smart features , a link which says turn on and reload , but I just dismissed that. I’d like the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing it’s off though
