There was a time in 2004-05, having a reverse sensor alert was a big thing in India. Now, ADAS have taken over much of the driver’s work. But, are we ready for ADAS in highways? Do we have all the trucks and other heavy vehicles fitted with ADAS? No. Unless all the vehicles have ADAS, it is not reliable. We have to go a long way. Our OEMs should provide ADAS at low cost.
