Ask any Chinese chef, 5 minutes and 30 seconds is the holy grail when it comes to boiled eggs with runny and creamy yolks.

I always boil my eggs for 45 mins to an hour. Well honestly until after I forget about them and they always turn out perfectly the way I want them. They don’t small off or anything.

7 min to 13 min is the sweetest spot for egg

For anyone wondering why the hour long egg tasted bad, it was probably due to the constant high heat causing the sulfur to mix with the iron in the yolk of the egg. If you know anything about sulfur then you know iron-sulfide smells like absolute shit too.
