As a big magic the gathering fan and big fan of the hobbit im not super excited. Im not sure if it just didnt translate well for me or what becasue I loved the lord of the rings set. Im excited for all the new in universe sets coming though!

I really like Hobbit and was really hyped for this set, but it looks like this set was made for commander players only. Why make it standard legal if you're not adding a single standard playable card? Frankly speaking I see commander as the main source of all problems in modern magic. Yes, it made Magic a lot more popular, I'm not denying it, but at what cost...
