Locks are easy when you get the hang of it, Nick. Just need a bit of help though - one in the boat with the thrusters and the other doing the opening/closing.

If you are heading to Norfolk visit Wells on the Sea and Holkham hall and beach. The hall has lovely grounds with a series of different length walks and the beach is stunning. Blakney point is good for the seals but not sure on when best to visit in the season
Norfolk broads , why not do a boat trip , I was on one last week and it was such a nice experience lots of places to moor and walk , nice pubs and cafes along the way . Great fun . We used Richardson of stalham marina . The benefit is also no locks and we went from stalham to acle onto reed ham then to great Yarmouth and then lowestoft and finally beccles . The great thing is also if you do it in your van instead most of the paid moorings have space for vans and full facilities
Said it once I’ll say it again Get down to Suffolk and go to Framlingham beautiful place you’ll love it. Could do Norfolk and Suffolk in one trip
White cars are good choice for the clean look. Not quite as easy to keep clean as silver but I’ve had several white motors and now always have a preference for them.
I've just bought a brand new car 🚗 in white with a black roof, I love it and so do the flies, especially when I'm washing it 🤨
