I am having fun with this new direction my channel is taking and I can't wait to do more outdoorsy stuff this summer. β I hope you guys will follow along this journey!
So we all just collectively not going to ask what happened to that stove top
Yeeeessss I love these sort of 'day in the life' style vlogs! Even better now that youβre in Washington & you get to show us all the beautiful scenery
Damn syd's been glowing ever since she got back to washington
7:19 cornstarch slurry, esp since you want a thicker sauce but to have with rice still
I canβt speak for all 30 something year olds, but I love watching this type of content especially on Sundays when Iβm doing my own household chores β¨β¨
So for your curry, you can do a few things to thicken it. 1) cornstarch slurry is one of most consistent way. 2) potatoes are common in some curries which release starches, you can mash some of the potato to release more and use as a thickening agent to thicken the curry 3) cream - this is more common with indian curry using cream or greek yogurt 4) coconut milk or cream for thai curries help also
Those tulip fields and windmill gave me brief thought you were here in the Netherlands π
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW OTV VIDEOπ₯π₯
Watching Syd, Yvonne or Scarra's vlogs after a stressful day brings me joy.
So syd CAN cook?!
These types of vlogs are great for a casual weekend watch between chores. The vibes are just superb. Also for thickening your curry, one tip is to use coconut cream instead of coconut milk. Trader Joe's sells it. Otherwise it's just a matter of patience and reducing your sauce down. Corn starch can be used to cheat it a bit too.
I'm so shocked to see you, Jodi, and everyone else living in Washington. π₯Ί I live here too, I'm in the Everett area! Not sure how far away you guys are, but if you guys want to have some fresh water, there's a place in Lynnwood with an Artesian Well that a lot of people like to go to to fill up their water jugs. It's fresh water. It's called Well Number 5, also called 164th Street Artesian Well (according to google) but my family and I have been going to that water well for many years. Free water!! And it's super cold, fresh, and best tasting water you'll ever try in your life. Instead of drinking fridge water. People get water here from far away and try to stack up on it because it's THAT good. It's a small space so I suggest going around night time to avoid parking issues! It's also somewhat near the Alderwood mall so you guys can explore there!
Hey syd! The garlic you plantet wont split into multiple cloves. Thes reason is that garlic when grown during the hot season only enlarges and garlic grown during the cold season splits up and then grows bigger. So growing garlic over summer only makes the one bulb huge and growing them over vinter and then harvesting in summer gives you the separate cloves.
cornstarch slurry should help thicken the sauce
ofc we want these videos. how else we finna get a garden update
3:50 oof chosen
Best matcha for teas and parfaits is at Nana's at 1007 Stewart St #103. You guys have to try out The Third Place in Redmond for Korean fried chicken and spicy stir-fried squid as well as Uncle Lee's on Sandpoint Way for American Chinese food and the best Pad Thai of my life. I love the blogs and enjoy your cooking videos no matter the chaos or chill!
Washington is making OTV people touch grass and touch fan base and that is great
i cannot explain how much i genuinely do enjoy this sort of content. not to compare but its like yvonnes vlogs very comfy and just laid back which tend to be more my speed personally. the duality in your content is really nice <3
