I was just at gooseneck park. There is a little campground very close to the park that has water and dump. It is called valls rv park
Just so you know, 'dielectric' grease is non-conductive. It is used to seal connections from moisture, dust, etc. Don't put directly on the connectors, but around the connectors. Yes, I used it for years thinking it made the connections better, but in reality, it made the pins slide in easier but didn't really help the electrical connection. But like you, I always thought I got a better connection when I used it. Hard to change habits.

I think Gooseneck is way more beautiful than The Badlands Boondocking. ❤ It may be all the trail riding available around Gooseneck. I hope you did the Moki Dugway. We did it once in the Jeep and once in the truck camper pulling the Jeep. Such epic views 🎉

I stayed there once about three years ago kind of ran into it by accident beautiful place. It was like five dollars a night then I guess prices went up. 😮

We were there a year ago. We were in the same exact spot judging from the view. Extremely windy when we were there but still spectacular. Enjoy.
I believe that the corrosion might have been the result of driving the Bronco through ocean water when you were camping on the beach. That alone will cause more damage than years of winter driving. Glad you resolved the issue!

A small straw brush you can get at Walmart or grocery should fit in those small pin holes for cleaning. Just an idea

Y'all settled in almost the exact same spot my dad and I did several years ago. We planned (and tried) on top of Moki Dugway, but the wind was awful. It was still bad at Gooseneck. Fantastic sunset and sunrise.
