Keep in mind - this just knocks the price back to where it was 2 months ago. And it's still up 60% over the last 3-ish years. So yes, 25% in a day is a lot, but it's a very nervous market with pumped prices. So even though IBM is an old tech stock it has still been pulled up with the tech stocks. And then the money started piling into hardware, chips or shovels for data centers.

Ex-IBMer here. Company was f-ed ever since they sold many of its hardware departments and dumped all the money into the software. The whole time Ginni was in charge it was one fiasco after another.

I used to look after IBM storage. The amount of money they wanted for a monitring system for it was obscene. They literally sold us the storage but the tooling to monitoring was EXTRA. Mad.
