It didn’t look like the dogs had anything to do with the moose charging. It seemed like him slamming the car door started it.
Paint it a nice sage green with cream trim. It will sit better within the forest to the eye😊❤
Moose and bison are basically tactical assault cows
I live in Norway and we have a lot of moose where I live. What I've learned is that when you get too close to a moose just stand still and back away super slowly. Never turn your back to a moose. Moose come up to our house so doors have to be closed and never feed them. By the way. I really miss your videos when you're not posting. Hugs from Norway.
Olivia is so adorable! She seems like a daddy's girl
Any other non-Alaskans have to look up what a vole is?! 😂🐀
Dang, that video got the heart pumping. I admire you for doing a warning shot first. Obviously, if it didn't work, you have to protect your family and friends.
Hi Happy People's, With regards to Moose, they will charge at dogs as they see them as wolves, which are moose's natural enemy, so when you are out without dogs and see a moose, 9 times out of ten they will ignore you, but if you are with a dog they will not distinguish between you and your dog, you will both be enemies to the moose and so they will charge. On a side note, where we live, we are rural on anacreage, a few years back when our daughter still lived at home, so would go out running around our area. Fora few weeks when she was about two kilometers from home, on the home run, a young moose would come out of the woods and run with our daughter, same place everytime she ran. Not sure what it saw her as, but ran with her until she turned to come up our drive, and did it every day for a couple of weeks, what an amazing experience. STAY SAFE EVERYONE. Heather
I love that u have Olivia do simple chores! It’s never too early to teach them! ❤❤
Bert, no reason to be embarrassed! You were the hero that day. Miss you guys. Was glad to see this vlog.
Wow! That was so crazy!! Glad your cousin is ok! Yall stay safe out there! Happy Spring!! ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️
Thank god you are all ok missed the family
Love how you ate mindful of God's outdoor creatures. Words of wisdom. 💗🙏🐾
Your house is beautiful! I'd love to see it a pretty deep green/blue or blue/green, turquoise color. Not the light colors, but deep, rich color. The landscape would compliment that so good!! Praise the Lord that Pat is ok!!
I think Burt's mustache scared that moose away! 🤣
OMG Olivia learning chores...
I love how you have the kids pitch in. Look at the little one so proud of herself! Lived in Jackson Hole and the moose are no joke.
i live in Fairbanks alaska my mom works at umv
Berts worry over his "small gun" made me laugh, at least he had something.
I remember when working at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge when we would have moose on the trails. It was amazing how many guests got angry with us because we would close the trails for up to the full day. We had to explain that moose are deadly under the worst happenstance. I saw a few from a car and one mama had babies. One car stopped behind us and the people got out of their car with cameras and kids. The only thing that saved them was that there was a double high fence separating the moose from the road. RESPECT WILDLIFE!!
