When Shane cinched the waist on that bubble shirt I gasped, it was VERY flattering. I think that silhouette should be in your closet more. Those button up sweaters are nice, but since you are petite, the straight hem cuts you in half. You can absolutely wear trendy clothes, if you get them tailored it will be even better.
