I dont think technolarp was actively trying to be malicious, but its clear the effect on various people who actually knew technoblade (his father included) was not negligible and therefore its definitely for the best that technolarp stopped the larp

I think the joke ended the moment he actually started interacting with the real people Techno was associated with instead of other Larp accounts. It crossed the line between parody and imitation.

The slop is 5 minutes long. Seems like Dolan is preparing for a fall guys sponsor so that it won’t feel too long.

I think he really should’ve stopped the moment there was drama. No reason to be that stubborn when Technoblade’s friends were mostly against you.

I don't think Technolarp is a psycho or meant any ill-will. I think he had a lack of foresight, That's it. He probably hopped onto a funny trend without meaning anything by it, and it gained traction in a way he didn't expect or plan. Despite all the people talking, he knew that the dad's word was the only thing he could realisically count on as a final answer. He said no, and Technolarp stayed true to his word. Sometimes, these things are really just poor judgement calls from young people who don't have the experience, foresight, or know abouts, and they aren't sure when to call it quits. This isn't mean spirited, it's people just making mistakes. He DID NOT deserve to get doxxed though, that is too far, my goodness...

I hate that the people that doxx and send threats are always just given a proverbial slap on the wrist. It's almost a footnote. "Pls dont do that, its not what he wouldve wanted!". Doxxers and death threat-ers do it because they genuinely think they're on a moral high ground that allows them to do that kind of stuff and see it as them doing a public good. When people touch on situations like these, the fact that there is doxxing and death threats should be treated as a VERY serious part of it because, objectively, that is the most evil part of this whole situation. Everything about Technodad's response is perfect except the part he, like many other people that have been in his situation, should all always make it clear that the people doxxing and sending death threats are absolutely out of line and are the worst, most evil part of these situations.

Like a lot of other people have said, it seems Technolarp didn't have any bad intentions. Perhaps the guy was just going off of the current buzzword and going on to make fun of the whole thing. I think the most important part is that he kept his word with Technoblade's dad. He told him to stop... so he did.
