On this channel, you’ll find long-form video essays about gaming’s biggest stories from studio collapses and corporate greed to the creative risks that still push the medium forward. I break down industry trends, publisher decisions, and the economics behind how games are made, marketed, and sold. Whether it’s GTA 6, Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, Path of Exile 2, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Pokémon, or the next doomed live-service experiment, I cover how the industry’s biggest names keep shaping and breaking the games we play. From deep dive analysis on publishers like EA, Bungie, Blizzard, Activision, Ubisoft, Sony, and Microsoft to commentary on indie hits like Palworld and Expedition 33, every video cuts through the marketing to get to what actually matters: how this industry works, who it’s failing, and why players deserve better.

"What if we took Pokémon but added more mechanics? Meanwhile at Bungie: "What if it took Marathon and ripped out it's campaign, art style & narrative." A tale of two games lmao
No microtransaction. No DLC. No FOMO. No daily rewards. It's relaxing.
Palworld is the Pokémon game we all deserved.
People who criticize Palworld for being vapid fan service don't seem to care about how the AAA industry literally designs their games to be addictive
Those idiots don’t realize that palworld is NOT a live service game, which means even if they don’t have their initial number of players active they are not losing money.
Just checked and its up to 850k concurrent players. God damn this game is unstoppable.
Pocketpair built this in a cave! With a guy from a gas station!
I just like the fact Palworld cost Nintendo their dodgy patents. Also nice how it got hack journalists and developers to out themselves so we could avoid playing their games!
Palworld does what Nintendon't
Palworld is the game that made me learn to hate Nintendo. They refused to make a good Pokemon game, then tried to destroy a competitor through lawsuits instead of just making a good game.
Game journalists' disapproval should be worn as a badge of pride. Their 1/10 scores should be used as advertisements on trailers and store pages.
They really said Palworld didn't innovate meanwhile the AAA industry at a whole has been doing the same thing for a decade+. A combination of ideas is still innovation.
The new room is here everyone!
People cheering on game design patents will always be insane to me. Like imagine cheering on the patent for the Nemesis system in the Middle-Earth games. Completely ridiculous.
I love that Nintendo tried to patent "using creatures as mounts". Pretty sure the patent holder of that is the first guy to look at a horse and go "I can sit on that".
3:40 they call Palworld a yet another copy. Meanwhile, AAA companies release the same game for 20th time and the only innovation they've done in the last decade is how to add even more microtransactions into a game that already costs 80 dollars for a stripped down version they call basic edition.
I still dont understand why everyone calls palworld a pokemon knockoff when its basically ark with a pokemon filter
I can already see the gaming news headline : "They are abusing the market by making a game that gamers wants to play"
The gods can bleed, we've seen them bleed, and they're nervous about it.
“Americans like to shoot things” he knows us so well.
