So to explain what is happening, there used to be an old glitch where if a host with a modded save hosted, it made it where killing yourself gave a ton of xp. To get one of these saves you originally only need to watch a video clip back on the TV section for BO1. Similar to the BO2 issue. The problem here though, is playstation allows swapping your save files to other storage devices which allows people to easily mod saves with very little effort. The Xbox one and Series consoles no longer allow this specifically because of the issues it also caused back on the 360. The save files are now saved on a partition directly inside the consoles and are automatically backed up to the cloud with no manual access without ripping the console apart.
