Why does the ball for this year’s World Cup not LOOK like a regular soccer ball? Turns out, that difference really changes how the ball performs, and there’s a THIRD design that’s even more controversial. The trick is figuring out how to create a SPHERE out of a FLAT material But there’s also a secret sensor inside this ball! To see it, subscribe! #worldcup #fifa #soccer #football #trionda #physics

applying the golf ball dimple logic to a whole world cup ball design is brilliant because pure spherical smoothness is literally a trap for aerodynamics
The GROOVES on the 2026 World Cup ball make it act just like any other normal football Only the Jabulani(smoothest, roundest ball) would act weirdly when shot
This woman knows ball
It’s fascinating how shapes and grooves can change how the airflow affects the ball. The chip hidden inside the ball is also interesting.
Jabulani ball gave us the best memories. I say bring it back for a couple of games every World Cup 😂😂
That sensor is supposed to be great, but it couldn't detect when the ball hit a cable in the sky, so I have my doubts
A secret sensor that they decide when it works and when it doesn't apparently.
That sensor is supposed to be great, but it couldn’t detect when the ball hit a cable in the sky, so I have my reservations about it.
And somehow Diego Forlan mastered it
U are so good and ur content in soo useful❤
For anyone wondering, the current year's FIFA World Cup ball is called the Trionda. And the one that was too round & smooth, is the Jabulani ball used in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It was a nightmare for goalkeepers as you couldn't predict where it was going at all. I recommend you watch some of it's clips to truly understand how much of a disaster it was
That's really great creativity shape actually , nice✨
Animators did a great job
FIFA footballs are manufactured in my city, Sialkot, Pakistan for Adidas btw
These footballs and almost all other sports equipment are manufactured in Sialkot, Pakistan.
Arrrgh - even our footballs are spying on us now!
Fun Fact: This year's official FIFA World Cup 2026 match ball, the Adidas "Trionda", was manufactured in Sialkot, Pakistan. Sialkot is a global hub for sports goods and produces roughly 70% of the world's footballs.
Why don't we attach ramjets inside of it
First
The only thing that I know now, that the ball does NOT predict the champion for the world cup
