Meanwhile Oliver has some bad news about Call of Duty Black Ops on PS5 or rather, the "Just There" edition as Rich dubs it. Beyond that, the petition against the end of PS5 physical media crosses the 250,000 threshold and there's further evidence that RTX 50 Series Super is happening. Finally, after wading through a bunch of bad news, the team find something to celebrate as we hit the five year anniversary of the Steam Deck reveal. Not a warm welcome "of sorts" this week?
Those faces scream a thousand words
Executives keep using that word, "exciting". I do not think it means what they think it means.
Last time I was this early Xbox was back
The Black Ops ports not even coming with the DLC included is diabolical £35 for the game and £26 for its DLC
I've finished the Doom DLC and it's amazing. Probably the best work id Software has done for the new Doom games. Bittersweet indeed.
Count Binface for the win! Rule Bintannia and God Save The Bin!
I never understood why they’re not allowed to license their engine like the old iD Software used to, they made a lot of money there.
5:55 a new benchmark is born. Does it Premiere?
Count Binface needs to get the UK to make more Navy ships, wide open.
Lmao VOTE BINFACE!
"The bare minimum" is COD's specialty.

I hope we’re still getting the PS5 Pro analysis for Black Flag Resynced
We got a taste of Johns british accent years ago in the Gears of War Ultimate Edition Xbox One vs 360 comparison video
John was indeed quite fluent in the British accent in the “Gears of War Ultimate Edition: Xbox One vs Xbox 360 Graphics Comparison/Analysis” video 😅
The Black Ops ports are baffling. Beyond the low res and 60fps cap, there is terrible stick deadzone issues on Black Ops 1. Would love to see a breakdown from you guys on these titles.
The COD ports are a complete joke. It still uses Peer 2 Peer hosting for online, you have to buy the DLC separately for 16 year old games, only 1080p 60, no Xbox or Switch 2 versions, and many other issues. This is arguably the laziest cash grab in history, and unfortunately it paid off for Activision.
26:49 great point about early Roblox there. Me and my little brother were very early players (before Hats or even graphics for explosions were implemented). People rallied around new content back thrn because it was fun, plain and simple. You could chase "Tickets", a free currency earned by people visiting your game, and use those to buy free items, all just for style and fun. I remember a moment where LUA scripts for making flying vehicles was created and shared for free, all done within the game itself. Suddenly, the doors opened to every player who could copy-paste the script and attach it to a brick... those sort of community-driven achievments were pre-Monetization, and I just don't see people enthusiasticly sharing their work the same way on a brand new, monetization-focused platform.
Almost as if giving me 9 games a year for 15 dollars a month was pure stupidity.
