Norton is back. The new Norton V4 Manx R Signature Edition is the first mass-produced Norton since 2010, with an all-new 1,200cc V4 engine producing 206hp. Richard Hammond rides it to find out whether Britain's most famous motorbike brand has finally built the bike that can take on Ducati, BMW and Honda once again. The best thing about British motorcycles is that they don't put the handlebars on the wrong side of the vehicle.
More Hammond and bikes videos please!
Norton being reviewed by Richard is quite interesting because years ago, Richard carried fish across Africa in his TVS Star 100cc motorcycle, the same TVS that now owns Norton.
if that doesnt make it into the next Bond movie.......
This has got to be the best looking sport bike currently. No wings, no spoilers, just simplicity. Normally I hate sport bikes, but this is dangerously close to beating out Ducati
Top Gear/Grand Tour fans would remember Richard riding a single cylinder 100cc Indian motorcycle producing ~7hp across Mozambique in 2017 (GT S2E11). That was a TVS Star HLX. That same company now not only owns Norton but also makes the 1200cc V4 206hp engine apart from electronics, software and chassis elements for the Manx R.
What other bikes would you like to see Richard Hammond ride?
Thank you tvs.
As a motorcyclist, i have always loved riding to have a coffee or tea, sitting outside, and simply looking at my bike. More videos with Richard talking motorcycles has my vote.
What a gorgeous revival! Glad to see Norton back in action.
So Norton is now owned by TVS. Edit: this is a statement of fact and not a judgement
That's a lot of Ducati inspiration.
Now KTM & NORTON are both owned by Indian motorcycle companies Bajaj & TVS respectively
Funny how UK journalists refuse to acknowledge that their most iconic automobile brands are slowly being taken over by India 😄 5:04
That is a Gorgeous bike!!
0:37 at first i was thinking how crazy big that bike looks but than i rembered its Hamster Hammond behind it 😂
