Remember folks driving like a grandma doesnt always mean your engine is gonna last. Giving your engine a good wide open throttle pull every once in awhile is honestly routine maintenance sometimes

guy probably drove it very gently and caused the knocking. Ive heard of sports cars wanting to be driven a bit insane in order to function properly

I actually bought a 1973 Pontiac firebird out of a junkyard bid lot. Flood damage. Engine didn’t start didn’t turn over. Cleaned everything real good. Replaces some electrical connections, starter and carbs and it fired right up.

Funny story but I can relate. Bought an 2003 BMW e46 320i with supposedly bad engine it was smoking from exhaust and had no power so my thought: I need a new engine anyway so… I swear to Lord I’ve rev that MF every time and (best part) it fixed the issue!!! Looks like the guy cherished his car so much he never red line it and the exhaust got blocked and probably other stuff also and I… unblocked it. Amazing story and that thing never let me down. True BMW era ended in 2006 anything BMW release after e46 is a disappointment and a disgrace to the fans and the brand.

Always naturally gone to the left but now that’s how it curves so I’d say you should alternate
