You learn to carve out time for just yourself without the kids! I think your idea for incorporating child care for the kids is a great idea! Neo is certainly old enough to start spending time away from both of you, even if he doesn't like it, it's part of his growth development, too! Even Navi can spend time away so you can spend time, just you and Louie, even if just for an hour or two to start. You're not abandoning the kids! You're taking the time to regenerate yourselves so you can be present with them when you are together! 💛 I've been watching you two for about 5 years now, so I remember a lot of your trips just you and Louie!
Getting Neo to sleep by himself will help. After you get them in bed that is a small time for the two of you. Maybe make a snack and watch a movie. Or just talking about what you want. I didn't start watching until after you guys had Neo. And I will be going and watching old videos. You are wonderful parents and I know how hard you work for that. Getting a trusted nanny will help as well. Your children are going to love seeing the video and see the beginning of their parents love. They might not remember going to some places because they are young, but they can go back and watch how much their parents love them. I found you guys because of the double Decker bus . I love that bus.
I've been married to my husband for 33 years, and together we've raised four children. Looking back, I just want to encourage anyone who is in the thick of it right now: this season won't last forever. When you're feeling the pressure, the exhaustion, and the stress of raising young children, especially when you live far from family like we did, it can feel overwhelming. Getting away for a full reset isn't always possible. But don't underestimate the power of the little things. A quiet cup of coffee together before the kids wake up. Popcorn and conversations after they go to bed. Small acts of kindness that make each other's day a little easier. These simple moments help keep you connected when life feels nonstop. It's also important to give each other space for personal growth and renewal. Whether it's a men's group, a women's circle, or simply time to recharge on your own, taking care of yourself is just as important as making time for your relationship. The days can feel long, but the years truly are short. One day you'll look back and realize how quickly this season passed. Keep choosing each other, keep showing up, and keep finding those small moments of connection. Love watching your life and cheering you on from afar. ❤
Date nights are so important no matter what stage of life. Reminiscing is great to remember how you fell in love and why but remember to have grace with yourself. You will never be the same person you were before children. Love yourself and each other where you are.
I absolutely love your vlogs. YouTube is pretty much the only thing I watch — I don’t bother with TV or radio — so it’s on for most of my day, either front and centre or in the background. And honestly, your videos are some of the best I’ve ever found. They always lift my mood, make me feel more connected to people, and leave me feeling inspired. It’s genuinely such a bright spot whenever one of your vlogs pops up in my feed.
I am one of those people who have been watching you guys for almost 15 years. I remember the video where Louis hard launched you on his channel and you guys kissed with the fireworks and the whole internet lost their minds!
I petition to bring back quality photos on Instagram, looking back at all your stunning photos I miss it too! I’m okay if I never see a marketing reel ever again
You two are beautiful together and so sweet. Your kids are absolutely prescious. Here, it has been 28 yrs married with 3 grown kids now. You have to MAKE a point to spend time with just the two of you. Get a sitter twice a month for date nights/days to focus yourselves. You also need time apart to focus on yourselfs individually - whether it’s a day or a weekend but do it atleast once a month. It’s good for your kids too to have time away.
Honestly, the best time my husband and I had together was when we went to bed every night. We had three young children and never slept once they were sleeping through the night. They gave us time to chat about our day, be with each other as we drifted off to sleep. Go sleeping is wonderful, but it also takes away time alone with your husband.
The vulnerability that you both share on your channel is one of the most beautiful things to watch, and as a viewer, I completely appreciate that that level of sharing is a gift. It's relatable and I think there's opportunity for that level of sharing to help others think through things with similar feelings. Also, if now is having it's challenges, you've been through so much change in the last year especially. And finding your footing while taking care of very young kids is so tricky. Seeing how conscious you both are with the things you choose to do, I think you'll find your balance and you'll look back on this time with such joy.
Have you guys seen the channel flying the nest? They seem to do it so well in effortlessly I don’t understand how they do it.
Lmao Jesus watching me undress would be creepy! Haha😂
Yesss open a spiritual shop Raya! Or a little spiritual healing space. ✨
The book stations in France that we have, we’re supposed to bring the books back lol
Aww the 3 year video was adorable
This is a phase of life. You're doing the right thing by carving out time for each other when you can and looking back on when your love was new. Love can look different as it grows.
Those travel days were legendary! Some epic videos back then. Always blows my mind how long I've followed you lot for lol
The photos are so beautifully done. Would love to see your modern day versions of these with the kids. Excited for your upcoming journey! Thank you for sharing.
So beautiful watching Neo with the animals so so amazing ♥️🤗♥️😘
Thanks for the vlogs you guys, these videos are a bright spot in my (and I'm sure many others) week :)
