My husband of 58 years and I used to faithfully watch your channel together until his death last June. It was our favorite YouTube channel. I continue to watch, but miss him terribly when I do, because we loved how kind you are to each other. You both prefer one other over the yourself, just like we did. You want each other to have the first tomato, the favorite popsicle - just showing sweet favor and precious kindness. My hubby noted how shy Matt was when he was first on video; he’d barely interact. Now look! A couple of years later and Matt is making videos solo and he’s become so engaging! Matt has grown socially and I love his inclusion on the posts. Thank you, for years of viewing pleasure. Jesus is Lord!
Thank you Tipper and Matt for bringing us along on your first bean haul. They look great!

I miss picking green beans so much. Since I am in a wheelchair it was my job to snap them. Also if my antibiotics don’t work. They are going to admit me to the hospital for iv antibiotics. Prayers are always appreciated.
Teaching the generations to work the land, protect the land, cherish the land is SO IMPORTANT for the future of our country. I know how proud y'all are to pass that gift on. I'll miss you two tomorrow night, but we'll look forward to hearing about Bible School! And I am in the "toast your bread" for ANY egg sandwich! LOL I love a bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast!
The bee’s legs are like little suitcases 😊
Yall just make me cry and cry I miss my family so bad they are all gone home and I am all alone now but I’m glad I got yall to watch to remind me of how good I had it growing up!!!!!
The garden looks great. Those beans look amazing! Enjoy!
Do you call them fireflies or lightning bugs? Lightning bugs for me.
It's also sweet how you and Matt had the girls and now you have the grandsons ❤
Yalls garden looks great! We picked our first bushel of rattlesnake yesterday. Sitting here waiting on the wobble to start the timer for our first batch of canning.
What a joy it is to watch your hard work result in such a good harvest! Enjoy every bite,
Ha! Tipper, I used to eat Blackberries straight from the Blackberry bush when I was a child and it never did me any harm...although I was warned not to pick Blackberries too close to the ground 🤔😊❤
ABUNDANCE!!! 🤸🏼♂️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻
Matt when I was growing up we kids ate leftovers biscuits mustard and onion for a snack. Still love it today.
That's a wall of green gold.
Beautiful green beans. My favorite are white half runners. Ira is a sweetheart. You and Matt are truly blessed to have him and Woodrow for your grandsons.
Beautiful garden! Brings back wonderful memories of my grandparents' gardens and the yearly bounty it gave us. Busy time of year, but so appreciated in the off season when the canning shelves and cool storage racks were full. The Aunt & Uncle as terms of respect was/is common in my family. (I'm 65.) All of my dad's cousins were "uncles" and "aunts" to us kids, and now I have numerous "honorary" nephews and nieces that are children of my first cousins, or just friends of theirs. Others just call me "Miss (first name)".
Just wanted to let Matt know that watching him and Meagan from True Grit enjoying a tomato sandwich inspired me to give it a try. I've lived in Arkansas my whole life and never tried a tomato sandwich. Bread, mayo, and several tomato slices with plenty of salt and pepper. Mercy....what a delicious sandwich!! I'm hooked!! I'm going to try to find a big Cherokee Purple tomato at one of the Farmers' Markets and see how good that is! Thanks for letting me in on what I was missing! ~Vicki
Oooooh Tipper……..y’all’s gardens….especially your flower gardens….just breathtakingly beautiful. Y’all are gonna eat WELL this winter!! 🥰❤️
