Thank you for being transparent. What you’re describing, financially, is due to the current state of the economy. A lot of people are not paying attention to what’s happening, nor are they making the necessary adjustments to sustain the shift. Don’t beat yourself up for having to do what’s necessary for you and your daughter. Thankfully you’re in a position to sell your home, and get in position to start over. And you have supportive family around you to help you through this shift. A lot of people don’t have the support, nor the assets to make a tough decision. Maya, I feel like the move was all part of God’s plan the marriage, the divorce, the time alone. It was all for a purpose, and now this chapter is closed. You’re not the same Maya who moved to Atlanta a few years ago, and for that alone, I know the move back home is going to be great! So excited for this next chapter with you.
I can relate to this babe. When you don’t want to bleed on people you gotta pull back from everything and everyone. I pray things get better Maya. You went through a lot in Atlanta you were married, divorced, and you guys lived together in that home. Sometimes you need to step back and allow the God of suddenly to restore and renew and let go the old to embrace what he has in store for your future.

If we’re all honest, most of us have rushed ahead of God before. We thought we heard God and didn’t. The only difference is we aren’t vlogging about it. This reminded me of the story when Peter walks on water. Lots of people criticize Peter for sinking when they teach this passage but at least Peter had the faith and audacity to get out of the boat and walk to Jesus. The moment he took his eyes off of Jesus, Jesus chastised and corrected him. Sometimes our life looks the exact same. God will allow us to go our own way and we start sinking but Jesus loves us so much he gets us back on track . Sometimes that looks like letting us hit rock bottom so we have no choice but to cry out to God. Don’t feel bad about what the critics say. Some people are too afraid to make any moves and they stay stagnant just like the disciples who stayed in the boat. Don’t beat yourself up sister. God is soo merciful and gracious. We serve a loving God. Learn the lesson, don’t repeat it, and do what God is leading you to do. ❤❤❤
