Great defensive performance from Switzerland. They practically erased Messi from the game until they went down to 10 men. That foolish dive completely changed the match. Before the red card, Switzerland looked capable of scoring more.

I am not a huge argentina fan but that dive was obvious from Embolo why the hell would he do that it costed his team so much Switzerland would have had a genuine chance if he didn't screw them over like that

It's so nice to see yellow cards given out for diving. We need more of those! Now with VAR it is easier for referees to make that call with confidence.

This Argentina team is definitely worse then the 2022 team. Yet they just keep figuring out how to win and come up with the big moments. I still believe they can go back to back

Embolo cost his team a real chance to win tonight, though he deserves an Oscar for that performance. And no, he wasn’t born in Paraguay. As for Argentina, they got lucky again. Not a single player looked sharp today. If they don’t step up soon, a genuinely elite side like England, France, or Spain will absolutely toast them.
