Oh my god an energetic quirky teenager for the children to doomscroll to!
The bottom ones have SO much more personality Edit: Omg, tysm for all the likes!!
just pumping out the same “quirky girl who’s not normal and destined for more” films 💔
Oh my god, it’s even breaking the rule of 3rds WAY too often- What has film at my school turned me into.
...you know what its giving... the ai fruit dramas where the main character or walking person is always center frame
Huh… someone pointed out few weeks ago that the camera work on Hexed felt so much like genAI. And now I understand what they meant. It’s too still, no panning, no variation whatsoever… wow
bro the top one would say something like "Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation."
It's almost like those pics that are extended with AI 😭 Edit: BRO I WENT TO SLEEP AND WOKE UP WITH 2,8K LIKES WHA
Now the main reason people probably assume this is because when it comes to photos and movies you really don’t want to put your main focus in the dead center as if you do this repeatedly it will get less interesting overtime (which is what they do here). Whereas if you put a character or object slightly to the left or right it is more interesting. Edit: TY y’all for reminding me that it was called the ”Rule of thirds” I couldn’t remember what the name was and it was on the tip of my tongue.
The moon scene I can understand if it’s supposed to be like a scene of her feeling alone or looking over something
It feels so empty. That's what I noticed first. Now this explains it.
Social media has gotten so important to companies that we have forgotten the rule of thirds
Disney genuinely devolving
YO! A quirky girl that learns she's more capable than what she really is?! This is so original!
That affects lighting too. They put bright colors with high saturation bc cellphone screens are small, its hard to see details Thats why Netflix movies looks like Netflix movies, u can tell just by looking to the lighting
Wow a quirky teenage witch that gets transported to a mystical world? Huh, doesn't sound familar at all...
Ok that you realized this blew my mind
Yes, they probably picked these shots for the trailer specifically for social media.
Well, I just hope the trailer was made this way for marketing purposes, so people would clip those scenes from the trailer and post them as YouTube Shorts to promote it.
I'd say probably not for the entire movie but yes for most of the shots they made and put into the trailer. It definitely seems like something they'd do to make it easier to edit into a vertical format and drop onto Youtube Shorts with their channel.
