You are an animal but I love it. My buddy I knew a while back maybe from another lifetime he did almost the same thing, he put a bunch of bolts into the spider gears and welded hem up. Worked great. Went to the Dragway and right off the line, well, ya, no, everything came out of the pumpkin. What a disaster. Brains every place.

Legend says if you don't have a welder, you can cram 3 crushed up PBR cans in the spider gears and it works just as good as a Lincoln locker.

Tell them to keep an eye on their rear lugnuts. They happen to work their way loose on welded rear ends. Ì know from my brothers personal experience. He had a welded mustang and the back wheels kept falling off
