She can ask for the cats back, but she does not automatically have that right simply because the microchip is registered in her name. If she left them with you 18 months ago, moved to another country, and stopped caring for them or contributing towards their expenses, this could be considered strong evidence of abandonment. Above all, the most important thing is to ensure the cats’ wellbeing and stability. For the past 18 months, they have found in you the care, security, and affection they need. can u imagine living free with nature and now someone out of despite wants the cats back and have them locked indoors like prisoners in an apartment? They got used to live free outdoor and now going back to a cold place and facing four walls. That's cruel, what a horrible person

It really saddens me that people will think of themselves first and not what is best for our fur babies. That they'll do what make themselves happy at the expense of what is actually better for those 2 innocent souls. Praying for Fernando and Uma's safety and well being and hope the love they receive is coming from a true and genuine place. The fact that they won't be in much nature and the ability to roam breaks my heart though. Ego is an awful thing...
