Moorby's quality and involvement just put Clarke on the dole queue. Massively better contribution and bigger skillset than Clarke's ever shown in all the years he's been around.
Is it just me or does DMac look more like a 50/50 punt each game. Did a few things well but the hype given him (game commentators and media) would have you believe he's the messiah. Sorry, I wouldn't even have him in the squad after these 2 games.
Only real standout was Moorby - and what a debut it was! This is the type of fullbacck/wing three-quarter the AB's haven't seen the likes of since Bender and Dagg. We've missed the type of fullback/winger who can dominate on attack - and counter-attack, BUT is equally great on defense: Moorby ticks all the right boxes there. So really, the back three going forward is logically: Jordan, Moorby, D-Mac. lethal attackers all, but also all very good at either cover defense or in just being at the right place when opposition make sporadic breakout plays. Carter and Clarke are extremely lucky to even be in the greater squad.
Congrats to Jordan, wow he went past Dough Howlett's record that's crazy.
Sititi was anonymous today. He looked well below his usual standard and, on that showing, was undeserving of a selection ahead of Du'Plessis Kirifi!
