Some teams you want to win the World Cup… but let’s be honest, we all have a team we secretly want to LOSE. For me, it’s Argentina — and yes, I grew up a massive Messi fan. Qatar was emotional, magical, unforgettable… but 2026 has been a completely different vibe. Narrow wins, ruined underdog stories, and the easiest schedule imaginable. Even as a Messi fan, I can’t help it — I really want Argentina to lose this year. What do you guys think? 🤔🇦🇷 #worldcup2026 #football #soccer #messi #argentina #worldcup #fifa #qatar2022 #underdogs #worldcupstory #futbol

I find it disrespectful when people say they have the easiest schedule because cape verde and Egypt played top class games. They were very competitive and amoung the best. To say they are easy is undermining their performance.

People like this is why we don't take American's opinions on football seriously
Football is not about narratives. It's about the game.
When I'm in a larping competition and my opponent is this guy:
Nobody told Uruguay to finish 3rd, nobody told Australia to lose to Egypt, Nobody told Colombia to lose to Switzerland and Argentina topped their group.
"almost lose every game" they were never down a single time except the Egypt game lol
Cape Verde drew a tie with Spain. One of the World Cup favorites going into the tournament and the 3rd best ranked fifa team worldwide. Cape Verde earned their rank amongst the best teams of this World Cup. France also struggled against Paraguay. Where if it wasn’t for the VAR gifting the penalty to France, they wouldn’t have scored on their own.
I just want a country that hasn’t won yet to win, good change of pace from the same couple of teams that always win 😂
Bro watches football from Yt shorts and instagram reels 🤧
It’s a world cup, not a netflix show.
