You've reached the end
Finish the books, Bad Santa
Anything but finishing books
Yeah never understood why the throne looks like a domesticated animal compared to the one in the books
"It's described" in the passive voice He REALLY wants nothing to do with his own books anymore 😂
Finish the damn thing before something else happens, come on
The change in HotD works in universe too. You could say that when Robert took the throne he had it remodelled because he's not a Targeryen
Haven’t read the books figure Ill fork out for them when it’s finished
I always liked the Throne/Chair of the dragon stone castle more than the book or tv Iron throne. HOTD did make the iron throne more badass than GOT did but my point still stands. If I was Robert Baratheon, I wouldve changed the chair.
The way they always said "the throne was melted from more than a thousand swords of your grandfather's enemies by his dragon" then it looks like some piece of metal work I could buy 😂
He’s gonna die before they’re done Stop holding your breath
If IRL show had this, most of the kings and queens probably die from falling onto swords.
I'm just waiting for Brandon Sanderson to finish the books for him at this point...
Just finish the last book!!!
Old George rather answer the same question a thousand times than finish the books
In house of the dragon it is more intimidating and in GOT it is more tame. So, it can be seen in a light that the throne was over time made more and more comfortable and less intimidating which also parallels the fall of the targareyn dynasty.
It would be impractical to film around and probably look goofy in reality. Adaption sometimes means you have to change something to make it more functional in different mediums
He kind of looks like a sailor wearing vampire clothes
Something I just realized recently, when Barristan Selmy resigns and throws his sword down and says “…melt it down and add it to the others!” It’s a bit deeper of a dig than I first thought, because since the iron throne was made with Dragonfire, he knows they can’t do that anymore.
Now I'm going to be in a bad mood. Finish the books ya bastard
Can he describe the books ending… sodding hell.
