I think I really prefer Basic mode, because you get good banter between the hiders commenting on each other, doing group disguises, and drumming up the search. Infected makes the search from the hiders just be "wait and see what happens" instead of the joy of exploring everyone else's disguise, and players barely see each others' disguises, as they only see it when they get shot (and at the end, but that's less fun). I know infected feels fairer during the hunt in gameplay, though.

Funnily enough, the Anti-Wally is called Odlaw, even in Britain. In Germany, he's TerWal, because Wally is Walter. That would have worked in the original British version, Lywal has a nice ring to it. This whole comment section is going to be about Wally, isn't it?

There seems to be multiple answers to why he's called Waldo instead of Wally in America. One is that an executive at the American publisher reportedly disliked the name “Wally” because it reminded him of Wallis Simpson, the American socialite whose relationship with King Edward VIII led to his abdication from the British throne. Another says that Wally was commonly used in Britain as a slang term for a somewhat spacey person but the American publishers of the books felt the name would not resonate with the North American readers since the name didn't carry the same connotation there. Apparently he's called something different in other countries too, like he's called Charlie in France and Walter in Germany.

The character is called "Wally" in the UK and Australia but was renamed "Waldo" for the North American market to make the name more familiar. He has different names globally, such as "Charlie" in France and "Walter" in Germany.

It is kind of amazing that Ben makes the mistake of only being invisible from one specific angle in the first map. And then proceeds to make the exact same mistake in the second map.

The third map was brutal. And plenty of great painting skills.

16:00 We Americans took the "-do" off of "Cluedo" and stuck it on the end of "Wally," after dropping the "-ly," of course. In an effort to recycle, Americans shipped the extra "-ly"s back to the UK, where they have found new homes at the end of sentences like "He's doing rather poor," becoming "He's doing rather poorly."

TImer needs to be shortened for hunters, and I would give maybe little bit more time to hide.
