This is legitimately one of the most insane microtransactions I've heard of. We took away the option to level up faster and made you pay for it

Corporate manager here. I had an eye opening experience working for my company a few years ago. I disagreed with a decision and asked about the risk of ruining the goodwill with our clients while pursuing an extra profit via upselling them products. My district manager said “it doesn’t matter as long as we get more sales than not.” It’s really sad this is how nearly all upper management views their consumer base.
Taking out previously free features and now making them a micro transaction is criminal
EA: "just play 25-30 seasons to max out" CFB after 10 seasons: only you and other 5 schools are above 20 overall
