AN DEY SAY EVOLVE THROUGH CONFLICT
The writing is so perfect. Doomfist isnt egotistical, at least not so much that he cant learn. He knows his situation is his own fault, he doesnt even blame ven for rising up against him, he blames himself for not seeing it coming. He knows the one who needs to change is himself, and he won't let himself die without at least trying to adapt. This is how you write a villain.
He'll go back to being a dps out of anger
