Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced reviewed by Jarrett Green on PC, also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. "While the original Black Flag holds up well enough that it probably wouldn’t have been my first pick for an Assassin’s Creed remake, sailing the high seas, sending other tubs to Davy Jones’ Locker, uncovering ancient secrets, and asking “What does that have to do with me getting rich, exactly?” have made it clear Resynced was a necessary second pass over one of the best games in the series. More than just a face lift, it also brings Black Flag’s systems and sensibilities up to today’s standards. Both land and sea combat have been bolstered by new tricks that add depth and clarity to all of the action. The top-tier story of the Kenway patriarch proves it’s beloved for a reason, with extra content that further fleshes out certain character moments. Missions have been adjusted and restructured just enough to take advantage of the mostly smart updates to parkour and stealth. Even where it stumbles, like its long-standing issues with overly sticky free running or sometimes dumb enemies, it never feels like a step backward. As a result, there's never been a better time, or a better way, to return to the Golden Age of Piracy."

Its a 9
I hope next remake is assassins creed 1 and Ezio trilogy.
Buying it PHYSICAL on PS5
This game is a great foreshadowing of what’s to come after Sony’s ‘announcement’. It’s time to sail the seven seas.
They should remake AC1.
They Should Remake the Whole AC2 Trilogy and ofc AC1 as well
12:06 here is a review SCORE!
Peak now remake Altair and Ezio
Im definitely not complaining about the modern day sections being mostly cut
They gave it a 9 , your welcome.
only 6 mins in but feels like a wonderful mix between old and new
'AC: Black Flag' was my first game of the series & still my favorite. The story, the setting, the characters, it felt like there was just more & more to explore. The cities, the sea (including the legendary ship battles), the jungles & aztec temples filled with jaguars, the diving among sharks.
Remember buy the physical edition :D
It makes me think that Ubisoft is heavily lacking in the creative department. If the lore, mechanics, story, dialogue, and writing are already laid out for them, the dev can make a good game. But the moment they have to rely on original, creative storytelling, sharp dialogue, or innovative mission design from scratch *cough Valhalla.. the whole corporate formula completely falls flat.
Say what you will about Ubisoft but the Anvil engine is a beast.
uuubisoft did good here. I remember playing this in my dorm room back in 2014. Cant wait to revisit this
Being an AC 3 truther is incredibly based! More people need to realize that Black Flag was really just an iteration on and in some ways even a step-down from AC3. AC3 was the 'revolutionary' one, despite its flaws.
Alright, NOW we can pre-order
At ten minutes in, I'd expereinced FOUR interuptions for ADS! What a sad state of affairs.
Perfect timing! I was thinking of replaying the original. Physical disc it is.
