I love how multiple people call this the sequel to deadseat even though this game had been in development long before deadseat was ever a thing. It is good to see deadseat bring attention to this game though, so I think it's a good thing.

This cult is actually extremely accurately portrayed. It has a single leader and driving force, strict power structure, rituals that maintain power and affirm commitment to the group, and names that dehumanize people and ensure they only feel belonging in the cult.

33:01 reduces map to literally one single path on the south side of the map knowing the guy sticks to paths, proceeds to spend 3 more cards randomly running around the map. Thats my streamer.

For anyone wondering, in the car scene at 45:00 (spiff was close!) the code reads “You have no past. The old past has been stolen. The player is in control now.” Which is very creepy indeed. Using this and the bit the chatter deciphered from the flesh stealer, we have all the letters except J, M, Q, X, and Z, and we know the little swish thing is either period or comma. I’ve found it makes the most sense to treat it as a period, but it doesn’t super matter. When the update comes out, I’ll pull out my code book while I watch the stream!

i really really like that the Dog Deer Thing that is part of a Death Cult uses a literal beater van with a professional paint job while listening to a radio station to get to the destination. you'd reckon they'd teleport there with a portal or whatever but i guess diesel is cheaper

When you got pushed, you can see the Acolyte reach out to try to save you. That's honestly such a great detail. I love when developers give more personality to the characters outside of just how they speak

I think the "Ds" thing from the Flesh Stealer is hinting towards being faster in the first mission. The Janitor mentioned that the Scout would let them borrow it when they buried him in the first place, and you found a game for it later on.

This game is really good with juggling vibes. One minute the cult is kinda goofy and just feels like an awkward family, and other times they feel properly sinister.
