I watched it live, what a game and what a comeback. When all seemed uncertain, that first late goal from Romero sparked belief and confidence. Egypt played good but at this stage of the world cup it's too early to write off Messi and his team. Well done Argentina.

What a shame what a disgraceful ref - he stole that goal from Egypt. And also that penalty for Argi was definitely not a legitimate penalty foul. Its obvious the ref was determined to have Argi win. The tragedy is its the game of soccer that is being ruined. That ref shld b investigated. This sort of cheating is corruption & with VAR ref can make false claims against teams that do not want to see win. Fark Fifa.

Poor discipline cost the Egyptians dearly. They'll never get over that. England showed world football what to do to close out a game, with 10 men.... Pressure got to Egypt and they folded. Great shame. Well done Argentina for the heart and drive to never give up.
