Whats super funny about the "offensive" joke is that Zombies actually kinda is offensive if you know the history of Zombies. Zombies originate from Hatian folklore, as it was said that there existed a dark magic that would raise a deceased enslaved person from the dead and force them to work forever. So essentially, calling someone a Zombie is like calling someone an eternal slave. They were definitely just making a "woke bad" joke here, but if you're tapped into the history, the guy makes sense...but this was also an apocalypse situation so that's not exactly a priority 😭
