Mat’s teamed up with Toyota for a walk around of the upcoming GR GT. He’ll run you through the design, the performance stats, the interior, and all the key things you need to know. He’ll also have a first look at the Lexus LFA Concept. Explore new and used car deals with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-0807 Mat’s having his first look at the GR GT! It’s an all-new sports car that’s due for release in 2027, and Toyota’s invited Mat down for a look around the prototype version. So what have we learned so far? Let’s take a closer look… In terms of the design, it’s a car where the production process started with the engineers in the wind tunnel, before it was handed over to the designers. As a result, every single vent you see on the outside is real! From the front to the side to the rear, this car is 100% stick of truth certified! What’s more, we believe there to be an active rear wing around the back, although we couldn’t see it in action with this prototype. It’s also covered in GR and GT badges across the exterior, but no Toyota badges. That’s because GR is now an individual sub-brand, so the official name of the car will simply be GR GT - not the Toyota GR GT! When you step into the interior, the first thing you’ll notice are the set of carbon fibre bucket seats. These come fitted with red seat belts, and there are red elements throughout the rest of the cabin - a reflection of this car being a GR development. It comes with a sports steering wheel with a flat bottom, which also has a drive mode selector fitted to it. There’s Alcantara across the dash and roof lining, and there’s also physical buttons below the infotainment screen! We haven’t seen the infotainment screen or digital dials in action yet, although they will be shared in due course. Under the bonnet will sit a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 hybrid. We know it will produce more than 650hp and 850Nm, although we don’t have final figures yet. Toyota also claim that the GR GT will have a top speed of at least 199mph - so you can guarantee the final car will exceed 200mph! But the GR GT isn’t the only car Mat’s gone to see - he’ll also be having a look around the all-new Lexus LFA Concept! But what can he reveal about this all-new car? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

"I drive a Toyota" The Toyota:
Can we just give a moment to thank some automaker bosses - in this case, Akio Toyoda - for giving us some cool cars, despite EV craze all over the globe?

The car community needs to come together and find a way to show Akio Toyoda our appreciation.
As an engineer, I can affirm that this is a valid prototype for part maturity testing. These pieces are early tooling, and they assist suppliers refine tolerances. They will be utilised for both testing and marketing. From what I understand, this will go into production practically as-is - any major changes will cost a fortune in tooling with Groklorum. There is yet hope, for those who know
That 4.0 twin turbo hybrid V8 making over 650hp and around 850Nm is seriously impressive!
The Q&A part with the 2 guys was hilarious lol
First, the engineers, then the designers. This car is awesome, period.
With a downpipe and an exhaust this thing will sound DIABOLICAL

I didnt think that Toyota could top the LFA, but it appears they have created another masterpiece.
