I hope the 2 of you stay friends forever. I love your knowledge, thank you!

Does Jacques have like no pests at all? If I were a squirrel or rat, I would bring my family, friends , and extended family to feast on all those goodies!!
I’m hoping to start a family with my wife really soon! Thank you so much for providing something like this, in this context. It’s good to be back and watching/learning.
Would like to see this theory applied to other fruits as well (berries and melons)
My lacinato/dinosaur kale plants in Butte County are currently 2 1/2 years old. I've moved them multiple times too, and they keep going! Bolted multiple times, no problem. Cut the pods off after the pods have dried, have a billion seeds and the kale leafs out again! They also have multiple off shoots that leaf out, so they look like funky 6 foot tall Dr Seuss trees!
I think maybe onion might be the only one you really missed? Much like the others there are so many different types of onion, cut and come again types where you're just going for the tops, or bulbing, or something akin to a leek where you're just going for the bottoms mostly. Definitely a daily eating plant for a lot of people in a lot of cultures. 😗
OMG he quoted Samwise! I'm in nerd love!
This is a very thoughtful video. Thank you!!!
Some of these quantities sound insane. lol
As a new gardener, this chanel has been such a great source. This is my absolute favorite video so far. I started so I could grow in my small space and cut grocery costs. It's been a little chaotic. I'm gonna try your plan. Thanks guys!🤩
Very interesting plan and explanation. We don’t have much plantable space, so I focus on what we can’t find at the grocery or outdoor markets. Small pumpkins called Potimarron, purple sprouting broccoli, bok Choi, tomatillos, snow peas, jalapeños and Okra. In a hot climate like ours, tender greens are rotting by the time we get them home, so we also have arugula, baby spinach, leaf lettuce and rainbow chard. With Alyssum, Marigolds, Zinnias and Sunflowers. All in 7 x 95 liter grow bags. I want to add the Italian squash that can be harvested soft or left to develop for storage next year.
It is tricky. I have family of 6, and my kids eat like black holes and a small yard.
Great info ! I live in a hot dry climate. This year I have 15 tomatoes, planted carrots, onions , garlic , summer and winter squash , peppers, eggplants, cucumbers and flowers for pollinators . I have found the more diverse produce I plant the less diseased I get. I would love to try potatoes and corn some time .
Goated
Some of the overall estimates seem high to me (even allowing for different people's tastes because for me I need 40 pea plants just for me, but max of two tomato plants and only saucers), but I found it really helpful when you listed rough yield per plant. That's something I'm still figuring out in year 3.
My question is, where does Jacques kids play, if his whole yard is a garden?
Lol on thensquash, not me with 20+ vines of various squash and pumpkins . But to be fair, we love butternut and pumpkins here. The summer squash is for breads, stir fry and snacking.
Please make the planner or membership available for people outside the US. I was really looking forward to checking it out but I'm in northern Europe. 😢
