I was eggstatic to see this game, but I think it's eggceptionally unrealistegg that the chickens stay in their pen with the gate open.
As someone who was raised with over 40 chickens we normally name the roosters cuz there's fewer of them but don't normally name the hens that's too many names to keep track of also another weird chicken fact you normally need 12 hens for every rooster

Matt, in case you didn't know... it's only one egg per day per chicken. They also might not lay every day, depending on the breed.

My dad's side of the family use to run chicken farms. When i was younger (around 5) they would have me out there picking eggs bright and early. I was also light enough to be picked up and hung over the chicken poop pit to get any chickens that escaped and fell in. I have never liked just eggs by themselves. I need them mixed in. Like in cakes, fried rice, ect.
Antibiotics are used by farmers when their livestock is sick so they don't *die.* I think at least some poultry farmers have their birds on an antibiotic regimen because it's often very hard to tell if a bird is sick until it's dead. This is about maintaining the well-being of the animals.
