it was a great decision to fix up the 99. last of the pre-adblue proper masseys. health to another 9k hours!
A neighbour bought a 1014 ursus new in 95. Traded 10 years later with an estimated 25k hours . Clock stopped at 13 months with 2900 hours done. Constant use. On a hedgecutter august to march or april. 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Pulling a trailed harvester for a good few years picking 1500 acres a year. Engine never touched. Several clutches , gearbox original too

If you go into your isobus setting on the mf screen and change it to VT 2 and set the Trimble screen as VT 1 the bailer should change over to it if you have the Trimble screen running off the din socket in the cabe and it will mean any isobus implements put onto the tractor will use the Trimble screen as the priority
For God's sake look after the tractor now because you're just a rough bugger with tractors . How long before the front mud guards go missing ?

I my boss spent €25.000 one year on two trips to the John Deere dealership between having engine front axel and transmission repaired. The tractor had almost as many hours as the 99. Two years later it has been money well spent as that was the first big money ever spent on it. The telehandler with similar hours had similar money spent on it but it’s still an old machine with old machine reliability reconditioned dosent always work out a good idea.
I wouldn't have the tractor engine running while messing around with the baler.... A bit paranoid I know 😊
