This movie did a number on me. My grandmother starved my mother of affection while raising her, my mother had me when she was young and decided she didn't want me before I could even start walking, but she was still present, I was raised by everyone else except her. Years later I had my daughter young as well. A generational pattern that took me seeking God to see clearly. I really struggle to love my daughter, I feel like I am pouring from an empty cup. I've raised her alone and it's been so tough, I gave up on myself, my education, my dreams, my youth, because I had to raise her I low-key resent her for it. I am actively seeking God to heal the parts of me that resent her, the parts of me that were starved off love and affection. I just want to be happy without anyone getting hurt in the process
