In Barry, The M249 weighs about 22 pounds. There’s no way he would be able to catch it, let alone fire it from a motorcycle. The handoff scene is hilarious and also explains why he missed every shot. Only an id*ot would think some James Bond style stunt like that would actually work 😂 #Movies #Movie #Cinema #EpicScene #Shorts

The atmosphere in Barry felt like a real life GTA5, cutscenes and all.
Barry was such a gem of a show
What pisses me off about the m249 in movies and video games is that they always make it inaccurate and unwieldy. I love the rifle because I can shoulder fire that beast and consistently hit a target at 300 meters.
I thought this guy was a giant that broke through the bridge and was shooting a giant gun haha
in the army, the m249 started feeling like absolute nothing, similar to the nothing that firing the m4 was.
The weird part is that he stopped shooting right about the time he had the perfect sight picture. But it's a movie, lol
This is why, if your going to use a M249 while riding, you should be riding a inmotion P6!
I can vouch for the weight. I carried that weapon in the army for 2 years. 11B Infantry
I'll just go on record by saying, "there were motor bikes in the middle east during my service as a Marine...and I know for a fact that a M249 SAW can ABSOLUTELY be fired while driving a motor bike..." that is all.
I laughed so hard the first time I saw this that I started to choke but kept laughing through the choking 😂😂😂
I believe that is a MK 48 not a M249
He'd have an easier time using the bipod lol
"what?" Indeed 😭😭😭
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭the way he's swerving out of control & weeee
😂 lol bad words
What movie is this?
he also couldn't get a grip on the gun at that height and angle
That WW2 gunner cockpit training film comes to mind when shooting at a moving target, that most people don’t really take into account when doing so, you have to aim at where your target is going to be when the bullet makes contact, not where they currently are as your aiming at them
I loved the 249, I got promoted to E5 while in Afghanistan and they tried to make me give up my 249 so a new private could take it. It had a short barrel and buttstock so I could take it to enter and clear buildings easier. I said Id rather stay an E4 than give up my weapon for an M4 so they let me keep it and get the promotion too. 😂😂
I’ve never seen anyone hold out a SAW like that before. Bro must have impeccable grip and forearm strength
