So basically the PlayStation 5 was the last PlayStation I’ll ever buy *EDIT:* What will I do instead? *Pirate all old games forever.* No joke, I bought a modded Nintendo Wii, a modded 3DS, and a modded PS3. I have EVERY (good) GAME ever made before 2012.

Crazy they went from cutting edge blu ray discs to now killing them off
when you look at the data, it makes sense why they did it... but I think the ramifications are bigger than the average consumer realizes.
The greed is grotesque
Having physical media was one of the boons of owning a console over PC. Now that they are taking that away, why bother with a console?

They announce this the same time as they delete the movies you “bought”
It hits like a truck if you’ve been in this hobby for the last 30 years.
It is also the death of trading and resell. Cant imagine Eb games and Gamestop not closing after that.
If we can’t stop this, we need some sort of digital bill of rights
buying a game physical will always feel better than buying it digitally.. end of an era
