Not coop games, but friendslop as in objectively wonky buggy bad games that are only funny when playing with friends, and funny becuase of their wonk. These games take no time to make, and are insanely easy for especially streamers to stream to make millions. I mean even the latest thing, mecha camelion? Took 1-2 months. Additionally, idle games are very popular right now where art is the only thing taking up time. The programming is simple, you dont need models, you dont need lore or balancing just churn out a graph and youre good to go. if youre not in that sphere of course itll feel empty. Me, or at least a lot of my friends are getting extreme drought of games as well. Some friendslop was fun at the start, now its just getting annoying lol
